#Apple , #Bono , and  #U2  caused quite an uproar when they released U2′s album, #SongsOfInnocence , directly to everyone’s #iTunes  accounts a month ago.
It's good to see that a rockstar as huge as Bono is capable of self-awareness and self-reflection.

Nope. Bono should apologize for being Bono, and Tim Cook and Steve Jobs (posthumously in his case) should apologize for making Apple what Apple has been since the mid-90s.

The Woz is the only famous man linked to Apple who's worthy of respect.

Sick Internet hoax gives #Bono   #Ebola
Despite assurances from health professionals, Americans fear an Ebola “outbreak” is around the corner, if it hasn’t started yet. Other countries in which cases of infections with the Ebola virus have been recorded are dealing with a similar situation, with people living in fear that they might get it too – and die soon after.

#Bono  has apologised to +iTunes users after +U2's latest album #songsofinnocence  was automatically added to their libraries.

Answering a question during a #Facebook  session, the singer said: "Oops, I'm sorry about that.

"I had this beautiful idea and we got carried away with ourselves. Artists are prone to that kind of thing.

"Drop of megalomania, touch of generosity, dash of self-promotion, and deep fear that these songs that we poured our life into over the last few years mightn't be heard."

The music was made available for free to more than 500 million iTunes users in 119 countries last month. It is believed that around 25 million of those have chosen to download it.

+carlos dejesus there isn't one. Just people up in arms for the sake of it. It only happened if you chose the set purchases to auto download. It's also happened to a couple of songs in the past but people didn't get pissed about it.

Paul Hewson, an Irish crooner who likes to go by the name of #Bono, is well known for calling on citizens to spend their tax dollars on fighting poverty in Africa – then setting up fancy structures to dodge paying his own #taxes. The British celebrity entertainer Graham Norton skewers Bono effectively:

People like Bono really annoy me. He goes to hell and back to avoid paying tax. He has a special accountant. He works out . . . tax loopholes. And then he’s asking me to buy a well for an African village. Tarmac the road outside your house, you tight-wad!
Bono exemplifies hypocrisy in his use and advocacy of corporate-friendly tax dodges and tax policy as a viable form of economic development.
