This day in 1887 Victoria Terminus, the busiest railway station in India, opened in Bombay (Mumbai). Sharing a rare photo of VT! Mumbai is where I started my entrepreneurial journey in the 90s when I set up BPL Mobile in 1995 – which went on to change my life in more ways than one!

Interesting Factoid: Victoria Terminus now named as Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site & an historic railway station in Mumbai. Designed by Frederick William Stevens with influences from Victorian Italianate Gothic Revival architecture and traditional Mughal buildings, the station was built in 1887 in the Bori Bunder area of Bombay to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria.
