Impressive statue in front of the offices of the Rwanda Revenue Authority in Kigali, symbolising how the country must be rebuilt by the people of Rwanda. #africantuesday #RememberingRwanda

Long Day
This is not a majestic scene like the Avenue of the Baobabs in my last post, but a slice of everyday life on Madagascar. Many work in the rice fields, but in this area, there is another option. We found many families camped out in their favorite spots along the river bank digging and sifting through the dirt looking for sapphires. This family is heading home after a long, back-breaking day...

Himba Lady.
Sitting inside Himba huts can be a little stifling, they're hot as hell, smoky and have absolutely no light in them, except for the small amount that creeps through the door that you inadvertently bang you head on, on the way in and out. Nevertheless a very cool experience.
This is my submission for #africantuesday " People of Africa #rememberingrwanda "
Curated by +Morkel Erasmus, +Dick Whitlock and +Grobler du Preez
