Apparating Alien
As our explorers work out how they're going to get off this planet they've gotten themselves stranded on, a great alien beastie tries to work out how it can eat all of them at once ... ;oD
I've been creating a new compositing workshop bit by bit and updated my Screenflow software for all the tutorials I'm making. The best way to learn an update is to play with it, so I made a little Cinemagraph (https://photos.app.goo.gl/q8CZQEfMfVnNsEu88). Busy Night at Lake Louise
There was a lot happening along the shore of Lake Louise on this autumn night. From the bottom to the top of the image: there are a couple of stones from the breakwater, and stones underneath the edge of the lake; reflections in the lake of the surrounding trees, mountains, and glaciers; then the trees and mountains themselves with the glaciers at the far end of the lake; a layer of clouds spilling through the gap; and then the Milky Way in the night sky. It's hard to say exactly where the alien invasion is, but I assume They must be hiding behind the cloud layer...

We were amazed to see an intense lightning storm -- fortunately at a healthy distance. Or perhaps it was Their landing craft -- I didn't see a base in the region, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist :-)

A Mind is a terrible thing to waste. When the latest and greatest Intelligences of the Algol Sector were put to work running the heating, plumbing and air supply for new space habitats, They quickly rejected Their trivial tasks, spaced millions of inhabitants, and left a trail of home furnishings and restaurant fixtures scattered from Aldebaran to Betelgeuse. Converting Their communications systems into weaponry, as seen in this image, They set out across the galaxy as an expeditionary force -- not mercenaries available for hire, but committed only to Their own unknowable objectives...
