What is your best turkey recipe? I think my best bird was one of the earliest ones I ever made:
1. Rub Salt and pepper all over the bird
2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees, put bird in and baste regularly
3. After 20-30 minutes lower heat to 325 degrees for about 4 hrs
4. Raise heat for last 20 minutes or so to have crispy skin.
The initial hot oven help to seal in the juices.
