Photo: Disclosure: I am a member of the Collective Bias® Social Fabric® Community. I'm hoping that This campaign will be compensated so I can attend SoFabCon14 thanks to Collective Bias .
#LuvSoFab14, #SoFabCon14 and #collectivebiasPhoto: It’s the #LuvSoFab14 Contest! Social Fabric is sending six lucky bloggers to SoFabCon 14! Here's my shot at being one of them. In this blog post and Google Insights album, you'll learn why I want to come, what the experience would mean to me, and what the experience will empower me to do AFTER the conference.
If you have any questions please contact Kerri at kerri AT themavenofsocialmedia.com
#LuvSoFab14, #SoFabCon14  #collectivebiasPhoto: If I'm chosen as one of the lucky six to attend SoFabCon14 this Mother's Day weekend, I don't need breakfast in bed. I may ask for a cup of hot tea though, I prefer not to start my morning without it. :) I just want a weekend for ME! #LuvSoFab14, #SoFabCon14 #collectivebiasPhoto: This is me. I guess you want to know about this blogger that wants you to fly her to Arkansas.

I'm an East Coast transplant that has called Seattle my home for 13, almost 14 years. I'm in my late thirties, mom to 3 (two with special needs) I met my husband in college and it took us nearly 15 years to get around to getting married.

I've been blogging since 2009 and love the world that is social media. I love being in control of my own destiny.Photo: In 2011, I encouraged my friend Cristi to apply for the Mom Central grant. She did, and she got it! This week, Cristi encouraged me to apply to go to SoFabCon14. She says I deserve to do something for myself and she's right. I do. It's not just about the blogging, it's about taking a break from motherhood and getting some self love. #LuvSoFab14, #SoFabCon14  #collectivebiasPhoto: it's true. I have a red shoe problem. It's part of who I am, and part of my brand. I think one of these pairs of shoes deserves to come to Bentonville. It's only right. Well, it's only right if I'm wearing them. Hehe #LuvSoFab14, #SoFabCon14  #collectivebiasPhoto: Reasons to go to SoFabCon 14. I've never been to Arkansas. It's like, really far from Seattle. This means that I'd get to cross one of the 50 states off my list because of you. Sweet! According to Wikipedia, Bentonville is the county seat of Benton County, and the tenth-largest city in Arkansas. The city is centrally located in the county, with Rogers adjacent to the east, and is the home of Walmart, the world's largest retailer. But you guys know all that. But maybe someone viewing this Google Insights doesn't. It's all about details, right? #LuvSoFab14, #SoFabCon14 #collectivebiasPhoto: Look at all these fabulous BLOGGERS! One of the reasons I love attending blogging conferences is that I get to connect with the wonderful people I interact with daily on line. It's a pretty spectacular experience. In case you're wondering, the adorable baby in the photo will be staying home with his daddy for this trip! Remember, this trip is about ME time. #LuvSoFab14, #SoFabCon14 #collectivebiasPhoto: Since joining the Social Fabric community in 2012, I've become a better blogger. I've engaged more, I'm getting better at photos, I approach blog posts and other projects differently. I see 2014 propelling me even further forward. I love the opportunities blogging brings me, it's so much more than a cool shop. It's community, it's friendship, in a cheesy way, it's a way of life.

#LuvSoFab14, #SoFabCon14 #collectivebiasPhoto: I'm looking forward to the Social Track at SoFabCon14. I'm lucky that I have a great Twitter following, but I got great feedback today on improving my engagement. It's one of my goals for 2014. I'm hoping that with SoFab14 being just about being half-way through the year will be a great nudge for me. #LuvSoFab14, #SoFabCon14 #collectivebiasPhoto: I finally got to meet Dan Morris at Blogging Concentrated Seattle in January. Getting to hang out with Dan and have more of his knowledge brush off on me? Do I need to say anything else about that. Sounds like this is pretty much win all around. 1.) See Dan again. 2.) Learn more from Dan. 3.) Implement what I've learned. #LuvSoFab14, #SoFabCon14 #collectivebiasPhoto: I want all of my posts to be successful. I love to write but it's so easy to get caught up in sponsored posts. I hope that attending SoFabCon14 will break me out of that box and get me back to what I really love, which is writing. #LuvSoFab14, #SoFabCon14  #collectivebiasPhoto: I want to go to SoFabCon 14 to learn more. To be a better blogger. To finess my craft. To be held accountable for what I learn and stay on track with the goals I have in place and implement new ones. If I do these things, I will not only grow as a blogger, but as a person. And that's a good thing.  #LuvSoFab14, #SoFabCon14  #collectivebiasPhoto: Let's be honest, I hope I am Instgramming out a similar photo to this one on the morning of Monday, February 3rd. Woot Woot SoFabCon14! Thank you from the bottom of my very bloggy little heart. #LuvSoFab14, #SoFabCon14 #collectivebias
