Photo: A simple shot of 42nd Street taken from the Tudor Street overpass. Not much special about this shot except that I thought it was cool that I could see a house on the Jersey side of the Hudson. Not surprising since Manhattan isn't that wide, but it was still an unexpected element of this shot.

Photo: I don't normally shoot people but when I saw this gentleman standing outside Grand Central in New York I just had to take a picture. I just really liked his look, so many lines and patterns. Normally I might convert this type of image to black and white, but I think in this case the color of his pinstripes, headphones, tie, etc. add to the interest. In black and white this information wouldn't stand out as much.

Photo: I love the Art Deco details of the Chrysler Building.
Photo: Just a simple shot taken from the High Line in New York City on a recent trip. Processing courtesy of Lightroom, Photoshop, Color Efex Pro 4 and Silver Efex Pro 2. The more I visit New York, the more I like it.
