Photo: As the More is More Mom, I'm all about....Odwalla's Game Day Challenge!Photo: Odwalla is supporting Champions for Kids SIMPLE Service Project and I'm thrilled to have a chance to participate.Photo: I sponsored a drive for new or gently used sports equipment to donate to the People's Resource Center in my community.Photo: I headed over to Walmart to check out their selection of sports equipment that I could include in our donation. Playing basketball is a great way for kids to get some exercise and stay in shape!Photo: Soccer is one of the most popular sports in the world. Why shouldn't it be? Kids get a ton of cardio, learn how to be team players and leadership qualities. Sports really are a metaphor for life.Photo: My kids have participated in a bunch of sports over the years. For my Amanda, they always start with pre-wrap. Not only does it make using your equipment a bit more comfortable, but the girls like to put it in their hair as a fashion accessory!Photo: Headbands and wristbands are always popular!Photo: Boys everywhere love football. Who wouldn't want to be Brian Urlacher?Photo: Even if you have mad football skills, these will make you look intimidating!Photo: Before my Nick fell in love with golf (he plays for his college), I didn't know a birdie from a divet. Now I know that these are some pretty colorful practice balls!Photo: There are golf t's and then there are golf tees!Photo: I grew up 4 blocks from Wrigley Field (the Friendly Confines), so I am a major baseball fan. When Nick played, I loved to score the game, sitting in the dugout with his team. His coach was so nice, he would let me bring our 92lb Chocolate Labrador with to help.Photo: Baseballs or softballs; whatever it takes to get across home plate.Photo: Here is a great big bucket of balls at a great low price!Photo: Baseball cleats are absolutely necessary to playing your best game.Photo: Walmart has them for kids and adults alike (and at a great price!).Photo: Slide on sandals are an important part of the uniform. You don't want to mess up your new cleats while walking through the parking lot.Photo: What I always love about Walmart are the truly Unbeatable prices!Photo: Not only is Odwalla sponsoring this great Game Day Challenge, but they help quench our athlete's thirst with a great variety of delicious and nutritious juices.Photo: When I returned home from Walmart, it was time to assemble all the equipment that I had collected.Photo: I was absolutely overwhelmed by everyone's generosity.Photo: There were bats, balls, cleats, golf clubs and shoes, basketballs and basketballs shoes, soccer balls and shin guards. You can see that the list goes on and on.Photo: As I was packing everything up, my Wrigley (named for the Field and not the gum) was happy to lend a helping paw.Photo: This is the People's Resource Center. They really do provide support for every facet of a family's life. What a gift to our community.Photo: As part of their assistance, the PRC offers clothes and.....Photo: food, as well as counseling, skills and assistance.Photo: You can see that the PRC volunteers are....MARVELOUS!Photo: A great big thanks to Odwalla for supporting Champions for Kids. I really enjoyed the opportunity to participate. While this shop was part of a social shopper insights study for Collective Bias #CBias, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
