Photo: Darmstadt, July 1999. I have to admit it doesn't take much to take a picture like this, just a lot of rolls of film.Photo: On to the next one. I'll try to do one a day for now.Photo: I'm late, but I was out yesterday.Photo: Let's move to this millennium for a quick change.Photo: Let's stay in 2007 for today.Photo: November 1999: Your sunset is nice. But the one on the Maldives is better.Photo: I love the Los Angeles River. Its ugliness is incredibly photogenic. It even has a few nice spots where it really resembles a river that allows for kayaking, but this here - taken from the I-5 - is one of its uglier parts. I love it.Photo: I could almost be proud of this picture, but I have to admit that the blurriness was not planned. I'm not even sure why - I suppose the mirror was a bit fogged up (since I was using a pretty short lens). But just ignore that I said that.Photo: RoboRally! This picture is from 1997, which is pretty much when I played this game last.Photo: Sand crabs. Weird.Photo: Let's hear it for "Wag the Dog"...Photo: Not that great a picture, but I didn't particularly feel like driving closer to find a better location.Photo: Whenever I feel like I the quality of this stream is going a bit too far South, I just add a sunset-related picture to compensate.Photo: Some random guy water-skiing on a lake near Hamburg, Germany.Photo: Said the people of Paris, "you can never have enough signs".Photo: So my last picture sucked. Quick, a sunset!Photo: San Francisco, 1998. What - is - that?!Photo: Not sure what this thing was when it was alive, but this here was on a tree stump in front of my bungalow on the Maldives.Photo: Oh gee whiz, a sunset.Photo: More fire pictures!Photo: PB, when my new life began.Photo: For all the millions of colorful sunset beach pictures I took, I also have a few other ones. This was in January 2004, on a cloudy winter day.Photo: The train station of the city I grew up in. Classy!Photo: This may look like a normal picture if a) the ground is artificially light, or b) I photoshopped a night sky onto it. But no, that was Irvine in summer 2004, the last time I remember having an awesome thunderstorm in Southern California. 15 minutes later, lightning and thunder from hell was slamming all of Orange and San Diego county. It ruled.Photo: A road in Dangriga, Belize. Suggested related music: Andy Palacio - Gaganbadibá (Take Advice). Dangriga is where my buddy is from. It's not as touristy as other places.Photo: San Diego in its beautiful glory, including downtown, Mission Bay, San Diego Bay, Coronado and its bridge, Balboa Park, and most other areas of the city.Photo: A Triton's Trumpet feeding on a crown-of-thorns starfish, which is a pretty rare sight for divers. It's a good thing too, those stupid starfish are ruining the coral reefs.Photo: Downtown Frankfurt is funny: You have old buildings, like the Hauptwache (built in 1729), within spitting distance of modern high-rises.Photo: Had a better one where a plane flew overhead, but that one turned out blurry. Sigh.Photo: I guess it's been long enough since I posted a sunset-related picture.Photo: Taken with a crappy-ass IXUS from a moving car back in April 2003, but this was the best I could come up with for #WoodenWednesday . Blame +Jan Lindenberg for making me post this.Photo: The Oceanside Pier, always a nice place to visit. Especially around sunset.Photo: At the Wave House in Belmont Park, Mission Beach (San Diego).Photo: At the Wave House in Belmont Park, Mission Beach (San Diego).Photo: I guess I may as well have something like #SunsetSunday, given how many sunset pictures I have.Photo: These things are plain ugly.Photo: Even sending cat pictures is not beneath me.Photo: Downtown Frankfurt is funny: You have old buildings, like the Hauptwache (built in 1729), within spitting distance of modern high-rises.Photo: At the Wave House in Belmont Park, Mission Beach (San Diego).Photo: Photo: Mission Bay in February 2011, after having spent the day there for a picnic with the family. Mission Bay is awesome. I miss living there.Photo: Hā - Breath Of Life" at the Polynesian Cultural Center on O'ahu.Photo: Hā - Breath Of Life" at the Polynesian Cultural Center on O'ahu.Photo: In the waters around Kauai.Photo: Saying hi to the residents of Kauai.Photo: Does this even qualify for #FlyByFriday? Anyway, thanks to +Jan Lindenberg for making me post this. Not a particularly great shot, but that beast taunted me in the backyard, so I had to quickly snap a picture before it zoomed away.Photo: An abandoned car in Belize, seen in 2003. This is not an uncommon sight, there are decaying school buses, trucks and cars here and there.Photo: A hot air balloon over Carmel Valley.Photo: Longing.Photo: Edinburgh has sunsets too!!
