Photo: Mountain Range outside Picacho, Az. Interstate 10, in the foreground, runs north to Phoenix going to the left.
Photo: Since we had something in the sky to look at other than the eternal monotonal blue, I took a walk down by Pantano Wash. That's a dry river-bed to you non-desert types.

I decided I'd share with you the view I enjoy so much. :)
Photo: I haven't decided about this one yet. I'm seriously open to feedback.
I'm finding every panorama I do to be a learning experience, that's for sure.

If there's something you think I should know, sing out! :)
Photo: I went back to Canyon Ranch with the sun out this time. Lovely place. :)

I also did some more recon, and found routes to vantage points on some other cool views of the Catalinas. I haven't exhausted the photo opps around here by a long shot. Yay!
Photo: Old ranch building you can only see by walking down dry riverbeds that run between private property. There's far too many property lines blocking access to picturesque places, so I circumvent (or ignore) them frequently. Joke 'em.

But it's the kind of old place you can see all around Southern Arizona. There are even a few little towns dedicated to the proposition that such old places should be preserved in the Old West style. Bisbee springs to mind, if you're into that.
