Passed by this place everyday to and from our cabin on our recent vacation. It looked like something out of a movie. I particularly liked the house and garden on the hillside. I took this two days ago in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee (USA). Unfortunately, about 3 hours later I was changing a flat tire in the rain on a windy, mountain road. Thankfully a state trooper pulled in behind me with his flashing lights which eased my mind about somebody plowing into us. There's a neat little ghost town called Orla just on the Texas side of the Texas/New Mexico border on US-285. We get to pass by it one or two times a year and it's always interesting to see how time and neglect change the look of it. This time we were lucky enough to be driving through during excellent light.
