Through interviews, feature profiles, photography and videos, I spotlight the unique cultural traditions of the world and our shared human condition. Like many people, there are times in my life when I have felt like the Invisible Woman, unheard and ignored, so there is an element of paying it forward to my my work--but mainly, I just find people fascinating! I do believe that making the time to listen to the stories of others cultivates certain positive attitudes: openness, curiosity, humility, detachment, awe, identification, connection...and love. It means getting still, getting out of yourself, and getting a window into someone else's world."
