Photo: I gave my Panasonic's Lumix DMC-FX35 to my father today. The camera accompanied me on a trip of my 365 project in 2009. It's started its second life in his hands. I took the image below with the FX35 in November 2008 before I started the project. I remember I enjoyed editing it with Photoshop 7 which I still use.Photo: Glass Building, Tokyo International ForumPhoto: Tokyo Midtown Galleria, Minato Ward, TokyoPhoto: Going Home, Sweet Home: I'm going to work now, but I'm already thinking about going home :-p Have a nice week ahead everyone.Photo: 09. This is the galleria of Tokyo Opera City, Hatsudai, Tokyo. The shot has made me think that handheld shots with the new camera in rather dark places are not bad.  Hey +Mark Esguerra, do you remember this place?

I had a chance to pass the Tokyo Station, so I went out the exit and shot one of the two dome ceilings that have been restored as they look exactly like the original.

The Worldwide Photowalk Tokyo was held on October 5. I wanted to join the event from the beginning but I gave up the idea because I had to do something during the daytime. When I caught up with them, it was time when they said goodbye ... Anyway, I went into Kitte with them. Kitte was a rather new shopping facility built at the former Tokyo Central Post Office. That's why this facility is called Kitte, which means a postage stamp.

I shot this place a while back. That time, It was in black and white. I went back there last weekend and tried a lens with a wider angle of view.

Many photographers around Tokyo love this architecture, and so do I. I especially like to look up the ceiling of this structure standing in the middle of the hall.

It's just a hallway of the building, but it looks like a modern cathedral. The object in the center is an elevator case.

My camera's focus point tends to go behind the subject, so I visited Nikon's service center in Shinjuku a couple of weeks ago. Since then, the focus problem has got better (not perfect) but the the focus of the view finder got worse. when the lens gets the focus on the subject, the focus point of the view finder comes in front of the subject ... As for this photo, I took it in the entrance lobby of the building where the service center is located.

When I went down by this escalator with a friend of mine, I thought I'd like to shoot the view of the terminal while descending. So, I left him, went up again, and went down again.

今、Nikon D5300とそのキットレンズをお試し中。それも赤! 素敵! これがそのカメラ →

I'm trying out the D5300 with kit lenses. And it's red! (https://plus.google.com/u/0/photos/108981679893410895534/albums/5874113229475194593/6057452384824053394?pid=6057452384824053394&oid=108981679893410895534)

The camera is small and easy to carry with, so it's great for photo walks. When I met a friend from Vancouver and some others from Flickr and had a photo walk in downtown Tokyo, we visited this place and I had a chance to try a low-angle view utilizing the movable LCD screen, which is one of my favorite feature of this camera.

The purple lights from outside of the building had made the interior looked a little different from usual. I love this place.

I like to visit this museum when nothing is hanging on the wall because the building, which was originally built as a residence of the royal family members in 1933. When I visited there last Friday, they add the annex to the historical building and I liked how lighting has been designed in the architecture.

When I had an appointment in Meguro in the evening, I got off the train at Ebisu Station that is one stop before the destination. I love this kind of grand space. Soon it will be filled with Christmas decorations and with people enjoying the them. But personally, I prefer this kind of ordinary atmosphere.
