Photo: "Crystal Clear Reflections" - Milford Sound, New Zealand

I awoke around 7am in Milford Sound, along with a bunch of other Photographers, and we all headed out to get some sunrise pics in Milford Sound. Even though the sun wasn't very prominent and was mostly hidden by the clouds, it still worked to my advantage in creating a totally different mood.

In terms of processing, the final shot was made by tonemapping 5 bracketed shots from -2 to +2. I then masked in different sections, by using selective elements from 2 to 3 of the bracketed shots.

As usual, I used a slew of my favorite plugins, including Viveza 2, Sharpener Pro, PhotoTools and Color Efex Pro.

Photo: "Sun Streak" - Lake Wakatipu, New Zealand

As +Trey Ratcliff chauffeured +Karen Hutton, +Curtis Simmons and I from Queenstown to Glenorchy, we stopped at many picturesque locations. This particular stop was a view of the sun streaking through some storm clouds onto Lake Wakatipu. Shortly after taking this picture, a strong wind storm rolled in, causing many trees and tree limbs to fall to the ground near Queenstown.

This is a single RAW file which I processed in Lightroom 4 and Photoshop CS6. I used Nik Viveza 2, Topaz Adjust, PhotoTools, and Color Efex Pro.
Photo: "Flowing Through New Zealand"

I captured this beauty of a view during a drive from Queenstown to Milford Sound. It was just one of many spectacular scenes I witnessed and I can't wait to process the rest of my pics.

This is from a single RAW and was shot with a 10 stop neutral density filter. I of course did some additional post processing.
