Photo: Back in time for my mountains to be awesome.
I hear the mountains are starting to change colors already.

I think I'll be going in search for the colors very soon... today even.

Here's up there a few weeks ago before europe for some engagement pictures i did.
Photo: This is sweet!

Get it? Double meaning... I'm so funny!

Btw I've done tons of wedding detail pictures over the years... but feel more of a push these days after seeing all of +Susan Marinello's great detail pictures.
It's easier to do when you're second shooting like I did on this wedding with +lisa webb

I've known kellie for a while so this was a lot of fun to do her bridal/couple pictures.
She got married while I was away in Europe but we were able to get most of her pictures done before I left.
Photo: What no Europe scenes?
Here I am recently returned from Europe with thousands of awesome travel/scenic pictures and I've posted nothing but portraits and wedding stuff for the last 30hrs

Responsibility
Well I've got to focus and get stuff done (from time to time)... you hobbiests (beginning or super duper advanced) should sometimes just enjoy what you've got going on. You for the most part can just work on shoots you enjoy and not worry about the deadlines and responsibilities. And just work the crowds here on Google+ and ohhh and ahh them.

Travel and Landscapes
I know my travel scenes of all the crazy places I've been this year may be super popular and liked here on Google+ and I could (and maybe will one day) work the masses... maybe even impress The people at Google+ who follow and push those popular trends and the photographers that do them #sul  things.

Work
But turns out I've got to run a business and not just a social media posting fool.
Though some days I'm on here way way a lot. I won't say "too much" because I do love social media and it's been good to me.

Not too shabby
I'm still a little prideful that even as a primarily wedding photographer I still have a lot of people that like me here on GooglePlus. Though I do wonder if I didn't post any of my travel stuff if that would still be the same and I'd still be the most followed photographer who's never been on the SUL. (I feel an honest thought and question.)

I'll just do What I want
I guess I'll just keep doing my thing and posting the stuff I want to post.
Even sharing other people's stuff from time to time.
Sharing difficult shoots, with less than perfect subjects, in less than perfect lighting.
Sometimes posting the less technically challenging pictures that I know people will go crazy over because of some convenient/happenstance element.
Sometimes posting tips.
Sometimes my personal life.
Sometimes politics.
Sometimes pictures of myself.
Sometimes sharing stuff.

I guess I'll just try the approach of being "really real" and not overly calculated and see if it continues to work out.
I'll continue my dumb ideas like posting at 3am when no one in the USA is awake. When the smart kids would never post because a long post with a great picture wouldn't be as shared.

Good thing tomorrow I'm sure I'll still have more good pictures and more good things to say.

Because if I was really trying to play the game I'd just share majestic travel shots with a simple title which gets tons more attention without all these pesky words... and then I could be really popular.
