Photo: Into the Sea, Oregon Coast
Photo: The Alvord Desert, in a remote section of southeastern Oregon, is one great place to spend a weekend exploring. The expansive playa has all kinds of variety and we were fortunate to find many different patterns and textures (including some water and ice - coming soon!). Although there was little color in the sky on this particular morning, these dark and dramatic clouds were great to photograph.
Photo: White Pocket in the Vermillion Cliffs National Monument is by far one of the most interesting places I have visited. On this particular day, these incredible clouds formed in the middle of the night and continued streaking across the sky for hours. It was a great night and morning for photography and just enjoying this incredible landscape.
Photo: After the decision to make a spur-of-the-moment trip up to the Pacific Northwest last weekend, I ended up at the incredibly varied and beautiful Alvord Desert in southeastern Oregon.
