I shot my friends family a while back at the San Francisco botanical gardens. -- Toughest assignment I've ever taken on, but we got a few gems.

I was really afraid that we would not fit into the subway car, every inch of space was taken by someone or something, Amy and I were separated, but somehow I made it in. It was a sea of hats and cotas and gloves, and everyone was busy in their own little world, except for them.

There are some people who really know how to hold a pose, +Michael Bonocore is one of those, ask him to stand still and he will do so until you release him.

This is a 3 exposure (-2, 0, +2) HDR (done in photomatix) image of Michael as we shot Rodeo Beach a few nights ago (with +Joe Azure too!). I was breaking in my new circular polarizer that da. I hope that this shot is enough to earn me a +SmugMug  hoodie.

I noticed that everyone is posting the best 12 shots of 2012, I'm still on the fence about whether I want to go through my posts of 2012, who knows, i guess I have a few hours to decide.

Sometimes you have to go back to where it all begun, sometimes you have to go back to the source. No expectations, no schedules, no plan. Just me, my camera, and the desert.
