Photo: Having some friends over for the weekend so pretty busy. Playing poker and I didnt do very well so I thought I would sneak away to at least add one photo. This is one for #StreetSaturday curated by +Siddharth Pandit.
Hope everyone are having just as good weekend as I'm having.
Photo: I'm not there yet, I'm too shy. For some it seems so easy, so natural, not for me. I still enjoy street portraiture but I really want to step out from my comfort zone and out from behind the camera and share a moment with the people I photograph. It's like +Mike Shaw says "One of things about doing street portraits is the amount of time you get to spend with your subjects". As I said, I'm not there yet but I hope I can get there one day.
By the way, if you haven't checked out +Mike Shaw yet I definitely suggest you do. He has some truly amazing stuff!

Photo: She read my mind, she saw right through my plan. I saw her coming and she looked just so interesting so I raised my camera taking aim well in front of her and thought I would capture her when she walked through the frame. My sneaky plan didn't work, she didnt walk through, instead she walked in and took a posing position waiting for me to take the photo. When I lowered my camera she came to ask for money. She was smart, she figured out my plan and profited for it. I really like the photo though and it probably turned out better than if she had just kept walking so I didn't mind.

Photo: Another face from the streets of Zurich. He was so deep in thought, he looked so focused and I thought for a second he would get run over by the tram as he crossed the street. It was his hat, combined with the beard and the pipe that first got my attention but it was his way that intrigued me and made me stick with him... what was so important that he didn't even notice the tram almost hitting him? About 50m later he stopped, lit his pipe and then he was off again.
Photo: Winter is coming...
Are you happy about that?
