Photo: Can your Facebook do this? 

A Google+ user named +Markus Thompson found a camera underwater while scuba diving near Vancouver. He discovered that pictures on the SD card were recoverable, even though the camera had been underwater for a year.

So he used Google+ to track down the owner of the camera to return his photos. Here's the story.

UPDATE: +Markus Thompson contacted me and said that the owner of the camera has not been found after all. Some commenters claimed or believed to have found him, but it turns out that he has not yet been found.
