However, it was a Friday evening and a very nice sunny, warm day. People were going through this place constantly. Stopping, taking pictures. I had a tripod with me and decided to try a technique where you take enough pictures that makes easy enough to overlay them in photoshop and remove all the people :-)

I wasn't patient enough, though, so the process wasn't as easy and not as clean as I thought but I got something and it was a fun process too.

Here is the result of combining 17 pictures with 5 different exposures. I had to layer them up manually because Photomatix didn't give me enough control the way I wanted it to.

+History Thursday curated by +Matt ShalvatisPhoto: Tree Alley

It was some time in December. Sun was setting down and still shining through the branches of this tree alley. It looked really nice. I wanted to capture the lines of the alley, the trees and shadows. Since the sky was rather bright, I had to do several exposures. While processing these images I just couldn't help myself but go for slightly more dramatic effect. I know that not everyone likes HDR used that way, but I wanted to try it this way.

I'd love to hear some critique. Composition, post processing suggestions, etc. Thank you. #btlcritiquePhoto: Old stablePhoto: Great day - Boston, MA

This house is probably not that old (60-70 years old), but the quality wasn't there and it probably didn't see too many renovations either. Yet, people still live there. There is even a satellite dish now.Photo: Photo: Photo: Rainy night in Prague

The second bridge in this photo is Charles bridge (Karlův most). It is a beautiful  bridge open only to pedestrians. It's decorated with a lot statues and definitely a place to see when in Prague.

I love little streets outside the major tourist paths in Prague. They look so mysterious and moody.
