Last illustration class assignment for the summer: designing a (mock) magazine cover using a provoking article.

My article: "Visible Man" by Peter Singer, Harper's Magazine

"For the Birdies"
My friends and I used to "help the birds" out in the spring and make little nests for them out of spring grass.Photo: “Little Lilac Eaters”
Yup, those girls are eating lilac blossoms. Why? Well, when I was little it was a myth that if you found a lilac blossom with more than 4 petals (or depending on the lilac species – a blossom with more than the normal amount of petals) and ate it – then you could make a wish. Odd, yes=) We must have eaten dozens and dozens over the years=) And you know what – I would still do it today~

Materials:
`Bristol Smooth Paper
`Micron pens
`Koh-i-Noor waterproof colour inks
