Photo: Good morning, afternoon, evening everyone :-)
I´ve got a new toy. Isn´t she lovely? :-)
I´m not really experienced in analog stuff.
I´d like to try to do the developing as well, but actually i haven´t got anything.
So if you´ve got any tipps, advices or material you don´t need anymore....they will find a good home here with me.

Have a nice week-end :-)

I´ve got different random thoughts i´d like to throw out with it.
People in my stream started to discuss several interesting things.
+Mihailo Radičević asked if google+ is turning out like you thought when you signed up. I only can speak for myself. Don´t get me wrong with what i´m saying. I like google+. It is actually the site i spend more time than on any other place in the web. But i think it changed a lot. At the beginning i had the impression that everybody started with zero. Well nearly everybody. I was so very happy when somebody circled me and wrote a comment or left a plus. I still am. That´s the reason why i try to reply each of them. Now the google-society reached a point where some seem to be more important than others. Because they´ve got more followers (and not always because they are so much better than others).
I am sometimes getting tired of commenting on "big pictures", because i often don´t get a response, even though i avoid just to comment an "awesome". They just reply the comments of their buddies or other "famous" people.
This might be the result of ....whatever....can you explain that to me?
Maybe this is only a detail. But i don´t have to like the fact that feel ignored so often.

+Alan Shapiro just told us to write something with our photos we share. I always enjoy to read a fitting text, poem, rant with it. I think really good pictures don´t need a super fancy title or very long explanation. A really good pictures is able to work as a standalone. But in social network it is more difficult, because the pictures are rushing away in the stream....and if it´s a photo that needs a bit more time and probably isn´t a first eyecatcher because it is overprocessed or whatever....it will just get lost. Because most of the people don´t take the time to "read" it. The picture itself or the accompany of a text or whatever. The stream is to fast and there are too many post to leave a quick "nice".
So most photographers continue posting only those pictures that "work" at first sight. For me it often means that they don´t work because they are better than others. It only means that they popping out. Maybe more than "silent" or "slow" photographs.
I personally like reading texts with a photo. But i don´t think that influences the reactions of the majority of potential commentors or plussers or sharers a lot.

There seems to be 2 categories of viewers out there. Those who like mainstream (whatever that means) And those who like everything apart (whatever that means). I started to think about what i am doing. I got sick with it. I don´t wanna lose my time on hard trying to be (more) mainstream or the opposite.
I don´t wanna think about if something "works" here in social network or if it doesn´t. I found out that there is always a handful of people who spend their time "reading". And that´s good to know.

For me it´s always difficult to do a photo that works for me (for more than a few seconds).
And i just really love the fact that sometimes a photo comes out like i wanted to. especially on film. I took the photo at the Gare do Oriente, Lisbon. With pressing the button i just felt that this one will work for me. I developed it, scanned it and it still does :-)
And it will be surely one of those i will print and frame in a couple of days to hang up at my wall, just because it looks even better than on the screen :-)

man, this is getting a long post ;-D
Congrats to all who made it till the end. Thank you for reading and have a good weekend.

take care :-)
