I'm heading upstate for a few days shooting in the Redwood Country. Huge storm went through today & tonight. Weather now calling for a mostly sunny day tomorrow. (Boo-Hiss) I want clouds with no rain. Monday looks ideal. Keep your fi nger s cro sse d.

Photo: Full moon rising at sunset over the Oakland Hills and Mount Diablo, from the edge of the San Francisco Bay, San Francisco, California

This is a straight scan of an image I've never scanned before, and I don't think I've ever showed it before, even though it's almost a decade old. This was shot on a #Nikon n90s camera using Fuji Velvia film.

Trying again as part of an experiment; there must be a G+ glitch going on somewhere...

This is the second post tonight to this same album, yet it only shows (1) photo in the album listed above the photo, but if you click on that link, you'll see 31 images in my California album.

Oh well... hope it self corrects soon. At least I don't think it's just me...
Photo: Oak trees and green grass on hills over valley in spring at sunset, Briones Regional Park, Contra Costa County, California

I just watched a beautiful sunset... from my office. (Grrr!) If I'd gone up to my local hills, it would have probably looked a lot like this.

I'd submit this image for #ruralsaturday - except it's not really rural. It's more like 'suburban.' This was shot in the heart of San Francisco's Bay Area hills. This image was shot on film, using Fuji Velvia.
