Photo: I've decided I need to take control of my eating and start eating healthier foods. Off to Walmart to stock up on nutritional choices.Photo: I have Crohns disease and so yogurt is an essential part of healthy eating for me. Love that Walmart has so many choices!Photo: I'm not huge on yogurt in general but Walmart has enough flavour choices that I can find lots that appeal even to me!Photo: I love cheese. I could probably live on cheese but it's usually high in fat.  I'm looking for some lower fat options.Photo: I rely a lot on sandwiches - breakfast, lunch or dinner.  They're quick and easy for me to grab and go - just what I need for my hectic schedule.  But I'm looking carefully at labels and trying to pick healthier options.Photo: These are low in fat, have no high fructose corn syrup, and are made with real fruits and whole grains. I'll pick up some as another grab and go alternative. One of these and a fruit cup would be great for a snack or mini meal.Photo: I love juice but they're high in sugars. I've been trying to drink water with some lemon or other fruits and veggies in it as an alternative.Photo: I do like to keep some of this juice with fruits and veggies on hand.  Great for days when I'm having trouble finding time to eat at all to add a little boost of nutrients.Photo: For my lunch makeover, I'm looking at changing my typical ham and cheese sandwich into something packed with more nutrients.  I'll use these to create wraps.Photo: Fig bars are a decent choice as cookie type items go for a little treat at lunch or snack time.  The new Del Monte fruit cups have decadent tasting flavours that offer me the same feeling of a splurge while still eating healthy.Photo: I wish I could find something similar for chicken or turkey. I'm allergic to fish but this seems so convenient and like such a healthy alternative to my usual lunch fare.Photo: Grab and go salads - taking out all the steps of having to wash and chop up the veggies makes it more likely that I'll eat these!Photo: More convenience - celery sticks (they had carrots too) already cleaned and cut up for me!Photo: Getting some lemons to add to my water - I'm not a big water drinker so adding some fruit or veggies to it helps me to drink more!Photo: Headed to the canned fruit aisle. Guilty confession - I never eat enough fruit so I want to stock up on Del Monte fruit cups and especially their yummy new flavours!Photo: Ahh here we go. Lots of flavours to choose from!Photo: These are some of my old standbys that I used to buy but I'd like to try out the new flavors.  These are good but the new ones almost seem like you'd be eating a dessert because of the flavours in them!Photo: I wanted to try the new flavours of Del Monte fruit cups:  Diced Apples and Pears with Caramel Flavor and Diced Pears with Vanilla and Spice.  They were out of the latter so I got some Diced Peaches with Cinnamon and Brown Sugar in place of those.Photo: I've tried these and they are delicious. Great to eat as is or throw into a yogurt parfait, on top of a bowl of oatmeal, and so on.Photo: Mmmm can't wait to try these! That caramel flavor is really going to add a delicious touch to already yummy fruits!Photo: While I'm here I'm picking up some Heinz Cleaning Vinegar.  LOVE that stuff and have given away all my bottles to my friends so they can try eco friendly cleaning with it too!Photo: My cart full of healthy eating options (and a few extras).Photo: I always find checkout to be quick and efficient. The store is always so clean too!    “I am a member of the Collective Bias® Social Fabric® Community.  This content has been compensated as part of a social shopper insights study for Collective Bias™. and Del Monte #CBias #SocialFabric  All opinions and ideas are my own."Photo: See my blog post for how I made my lunch a healthier one with Del Monte & get my homemade granola recipe http://bit.ly/QH1cqL
