Photo: I really like shooting with the Holga but it is such a pain and expense to get film processed and scanned.Photo: I probably shouldn't post this one so soon, but it is perhaps my most favorite photograph of the ones I have made thus far. Another serendipitous moment, as I sat down on a bench to rest from the hot sun, I looked up and saw this before me.Photo: I got engaged to +Jayme Bosio the weekend I shot this in Key West. Best weekend ever.Photo: Not the greatest composition or the greatest exposure, but something about its mood suits me, reminding me of those days after 9/11.Photo: Portrait of Ethan Bosio - 6 months, Nikon D70 at f/1.4, 1/250, ISO800, AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.4D, Available light, Dec. 19, 2011Photo: Launch of Atlas 541 rocket carrying the Mars Science Laboratory (Curiosity rover) from Space Launch Complex 41, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla., Nikon D70 at f/8, 1/2000, ISO200, 300mm on AF Zoom-Nikkor 70-300mm f/4-5.6G, Nov. 26, 2011.Photo: +Lisa Bettany has inspired me to start posting my favorite photographs which I have made over the years. I suggest you encircle her here on G+ if you want to see some great photography.

The photograph below, like many of my favorites, was captured in a moment of serendipity. I was on another moving boat and just happened to turn around at the right moment to capture the light in the sails of the then recently completed schooner Virginia. http://www.schoonervirginia.org/ My camera settings happened to be set well and I was able to get a few shots as the two ships passed in opposite directions.Photo: I got a few shots I'm quite pleased with at the ren fest one year.Photo: Portrait of Bosco Bear Bosio (my parent's dog), Nikon D70 at f/2.8, 1/500, ISO800, AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.4D, Available light, Dec. 17, 2007Photo: I enjoy photojournalism and street photography more than shoots where I need to direct people. I'm not very good at that yet.

Funny story. One of the guys on the opposite corner was a local Green Party leader. He asked me who I was with and it went right over my head. I told him I was by myself.
