You are looking up at the north side tower of the bridge from below. This photo might not interest you but I do. Not only have I admired the outside beauty of it but the structural design concept of this wonderful suspension bridge. I am amazed how they accomplished this task and actually do admired those minds behind this bridge. First look might just be nothing to you as you only see some repetitive steel but to me, looking through the inner beauty of this bridge what makes me really awe with wonderful.

A road we take sometimes it is not what we expected to be. What tomorrow brings often we can’t see in the present. We do often say if only if we have crystal ball for us to see, then we already know which road to take. But often that is not the case. We take chances. We make decisions. We may or we may not rise up but at least we tried. It is not a failure but rather a lesson in life and that is life all about. What matter is continue on the road and either turn left or turn right to find the answers we seek.

 #dof   #photography   Photo: My Favorite Tree

I can see you every time I look out in my window. When I glimpse out, you are there seems to be waiting. Waiting for me to come and visit you. You are just there, growing and getting tired. We have been neighbors for five long years. Five long years I saw you transformed out for more branch to grow. You look sad and vulnerable on winter months, as your green leaves left you behind. I was happy to see you when a spring season comes. You look more alive and happier with new green leaf cling you around.

I saw kids come and go and running run around you. Kids that climb up on your branch, balance and test out your strong branch.  I saw other people just to come, sit and relax under your leaves canopy. You are one of photographers’ favorite spot to come out for a background. I felt sad when I saw one of your branches gave up and they have to remove it from you. Nevertheless, there was a joy inside me when  they take care of you.

I enjoy the time I sat down under your shade yesterday afternoon. Not only yesterday afternoons but the previous afternoons over the years I came. You always don’t seem to fail to give me a soft breeze under the summer hot afternoons.

Lastly, you are always going to be my favorite Tree of all time. Favorite of all time as you have a character. A character that you branching out and curled up on the ground and you have showed me that you are always been there with an open branches just like an open hand of a friend. You become my favorite of all time as you showed me not to go look beyond but to analyze my friends that are always in my front. Either those friends come for a reason and for a season.

As to life, sometimes we cannot see the things just in front of our face. We often close-up our minds and not able to see those are always been there for us. It is either a friend or family member that has been lending their hand to help out carry your burden. Or just a friend that are always willing to listen up to you when you needed it.

They have always been there in front of us in the first place and sometimes, we fail to take notice just like this tree. It_ is about time_ to acknowledge and appreciate those friends for the unquestionable love that they showing _it to you .

#tree  Photo: Make new friends, but keep the old;
Those are silver, these are gold.
New-made friendships, like new wine,
Age will mellow and refine.
Friendships that have stood the test
Time and change - are surely best;
Brow may wrinkle, hair grow gray,
Friendship never knows decay.
For 'mid old friends, tried and true,
Once more we our youth renew.
But old friends, alas! may die,
New friends must their place supply.
Cherish friendship in your breast
New is good, but old is best;
Make new friends, but keep the old;
Those are silver, these are gold.

-Photo: My morning...

Woke up around 7 o’clock, say Good Morning to my husband, and made some coffee in the pot. I pulled up our kitchen window shade and here’s what greeted me.
Went to the office, grabbed my camera…
“I’ll be…” been cut off of what I was about to say.
“Just go, quickly!” my husband says.
I rushed outside and without thinking just took couple of clicks as I know colors will be gone in a second.

How many of you have done this? I mean, when you see beautiful colors in the sky and just quickly grab your camera and trying to capture the moment.

I really need to stop doing this and plan nicely – get up way early in the morning and wait for the moment instead of rushing out of the door when I see it.

Anyway, wishing you a wonderful day today!

My daughter when she was only 6 months old, I already started reading her a book even just 10 to 15 minutes almost every day. She might do not understand it but my goal is to nurture her to love books as I believe all knowledge can acquire through reading.

When you read them aloud, not only that you are spending quality time with your child but you are helping them to develop. And, most importantly, you are establishing a habit and love of reading hopefully throughout their life.

Conference at school is done last week and was so proud of my little girl, 8 years old. She is advance in English-language art and can read 179 words per minute (79 words, first quarter, at 3rd grade). By next month, her teacher told us they will have to assess her Engligh-language art level.
