Quality Good Facilities Good Service Good - Had a quick overnight stay with family before flight back from Malaga Airport the next morning. The hotel was OK, breakfast pretty average, though for a quick stay it was more or less adequate. However, had I known about the extortionate taxi fares to the airport (which is less than 1km away) I would never have booked here. You can walk to the airport but there are no footpaths and it involves crossing busy roads, which you can't do carrying suitcases and with young kids. Therefore you have to pay for taxis, and the taxi firms fleece you as much as possible. I had to book two taxis for a family of five (since minibuses apparently don't exist here) at a total cost of more than 30 Euros for a one minute ride around the corner. This reflects very badly on Holiday Inn, and since it is generating so much business for taxi firms it should also consider the downside of annoying its customers. It'd be cheaper to hire a car...

Quality Poor to fair - Booked a car for a week. Car OK, but the rest of the service was appalling. I would never use them again. Having stepped off a flight from the UK, I had to wait almost 2 hours at the Avis desk before I could pick up the car. They know how many bookings are made, can they not make the requisite number of staff available to deal with the amount of people picking up cars? The most annoying thing was that you had to pay for a full tank before driving off, a sum which, incidentally, was not made clear before I left in the car. To fill the tank in the average Spanish petrol station would have been 85 Euros. I was charged 140 Euros, as well as 60 Euros for the hire of a car seat for a week. I expected to pay a slight premium, instead I was fleeced. If you want to treat customers like this, don't expect them to use your services again. Avis should think more about long-term customer retention and less about squeezing every penny possible out of them. I would never use Avis again, and I would advise anyone I know not to.

- Very overpriced for what is basically reheated food. At £13 for fajitas you'd be better off buying Old El Paso. If this was top notch Mexican food, I'd be happy to pay that, but this is very poor indeed.
