- UCF is a great university that doesn't get enough credit. That's partially because it's a relatively young university at just 50 years old. It's also partially due to our football team being in a lesser known conference. It is a large university and with that comes a lot of pros and cons. Yes, your classes are going to have more students in them, but you'll also have more opportunities (including more events for students, more student organizations to get involved with, and over time more alumni to connect with). As with any university, there are a few programs that are better than others. At UCF, that appears to be Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Marketing (specifically the Professional Selling Program).

Appeal Excellent Facilities Very good Service Very good - There is a really great atmosphere at the Bright House Networks Stadium during UCF games, especially in the student section. It doesn't always sell out, but when it does it can really be electric in there. The stadium is made of metal which helps to create a cool effect when everyone is jumping up and down to Zombie Nation: it bounces which has resulted in giving it the nickname "The Bounce House."

Food Excellent Decor Excellent Service Excellent - All of the food at Texas de Brazil, is awesome! They have so many different types of meet that are absolutely delicous. The salad bar is really good too. I usually don't get much there to save room for the endless meat (including beef, chicken, pork, and lamb) that they bring around, but I always make sure to get the lobster bisque that is to die for. If you've never been to a Brazilian steakhouse, it's a little different. Instead of ordering one meal, you pay a base price of $50 and they bring around different types of high grade meat and ask if you want some of it. If so they cut you off a piece, if not then you wait for someone else to come by with something you do want.

- The Rainforest Cafe has a kind of cool atmosphere with moving "animals" and the sounds and light flashing of lightning. However, you definitely pay for that, plus the fact that it's at Disney. The food is way overpriced and really nothing special. While it might be a good place to take the kids, if you want good food at a reasonable price, you are probably better off finding some place else.

- The food was a bit overpriced, and it was just OK. The service was adequate though. The part we didn't like was that the seating was all outside. You're are under a cover and there are some fans, but in Florida, it's still going to be hot most of the time when the sun is up. We went during the summer, so it would probably be nice during the winter.

Appeal Excellent Facilities Excellent Service Very good - This is a great place to see a movie with their comfortable leather chairs that recline slightly. They also have large screens. The theaters are all well kept and clean. Also, if you are interested in drinking during your movie they also have a bar serving up beer and mix drinks. It's also a great place to include as part of a date because of the restaurants at City Walk (although they are pricey) and because of the area to walk around or sit and talk after the movie. There is sometimes a parking fee, but if you came after 6pm the fee is lower. Also, they offer free parking for Florida residents sometimes. I'd check the City Walk website before coming over to see if you can find any of that information or maybe even call the theater.

- The staff here was really nice especially since I arrived in a party of 150. Also, the rooms and lobby were clean and well kept. I also really enjoyed the fact that there were free cookies and water in the lobby at all times. There were some issues with some rooms not being ready for a while including after 4pm. Also, the cable in our room didn't work at first because the cable was a bit loose in its connection to the back of the TV. In addition, the fountain in front of the hotel was turned off the whole couple days I was there for some reason.

Quality Excellent - I went here with my girlfriend expecting it to be funny and a good time, but not as much as it was. There were times when I thought I was going to fall out of my seat because I was laughing so hard. I would definitely recommend it. We went on a Saturday when it's $15 each but there are some nights when it is $5. I would definitely recommend it!

Appeal Very good Facilities Very good Service Excellent - The Oviedo Mall theater used to be one of the best around, but now it's nothing really that special. There's nothing wrong with the theater itself. It just isn't above the rest like it used to be. One issue is that the mall is all but dead, so walking around before or after a movie is super boring now. However, one good point about that is that the theater is usually pretty empty, so it's easier to find the seat of your choice. There does tend to be a lot of middle school and early high school students hanging around the mall and theater on Friday and Saturday nights, so I could see where they could be an issue if they are bothersome during a movie.

Quality Excellent Appeal Excellent Service Excellent - Sweet! has awesome, gourmet cupcakes and Holly the owner is really nice. They sell both large and mini cupcakes as well as frozen yogurt. Everyday the cupcakes change a little bit because there are some that rotate in and out to keep it fresh. On Mondays, they have a great deal called Mini Monday Mania where all the mini cupcakes are only $1. The only negative I'll see is a bit of a personal preference. The cupcakes can be a little too rich a times.
