- We ordered the Fragrant Duck - a must have, along with Seven Flavor Beef - excellent - as well as a special fish entree that was the best of all three. The appetizers and satay were very good, but didn't blow my socks off. My only disappointment was the host staff, who were professional but didn't go out of their way to greet us. This is a big, busy, factory-like restaurant, and also something of a landmark. Definitely the type of place to take visitors from out of town.

- Best. Store. Ever. Great staff. Great food. And if you look for specials, bulk, 365 brands, you don't have to spend a fortune.

- The crust is tops, yet it's distinctly a "Seattle" pizza. When folks visit from out of town, this is where I take them. Damnit, it just tastes good.

- We just returned from a long weekend at Domaine Madeleine Bed & Breakfast. Can't say enough good things about it. If you are lucky enough to get a room with breakfast included, you will never forget it. You feel like a judge on "Iron Chef", tasting some of the best food you will ever have. Jeri is also very knowledgeable about all the different activities and restaurants in the area, and we followed several of her suggestions for a great time. The property overlooks the water, and we used her binoculars to peer out at ships and lighthouses and Canada and also tried to spot whales. What a great time.

- The Pin Cushion was one of the first community acupuncture clinics in Seattle. The staff - currently Julie, Susie and Sam - is the absolute best. They take the time to listen and try to solve whatever problem you throw at them. The "community" aspect of the acupuncture is intimate but oh so very relaxing. Acupuncture often takes consistency and repeated visits to restore vibrant health (although even a single session will do you good.) Fortunately, The Pin Cushion charges an affordable sliding scale. So that even multiple visits will cost less than even a single trip to the doctor's office. Highly recommended.

- We've used Superior Imprints many times for custom pad printing. In my opinion they are the best bet for the money in Seattle. They also specialize in screen printing (wholesale only - they don't sell t-shirts like most screen printers) and embroidery. Jim always gets the job done professionally and at a fair price.

- Dr. Murtazina helped me feel better after my very first visit. I thought I already knew a lot about eating right, but she instantly saw problems with my diet and I couldn't wait to return again and again. Highly recommended.

- Gridiron Fulfillment offers a simple service. They allow you to outsource any part of your business that has to do with warehousing, fulfillment, freight or shipping. If you have product coming in from China, and need a place to store it, and someone to take care of shipping it to your customers - Gridiron can take care of every part of the job, or just the part you need help with. Since I've first worked with Gridiron they've proven themselves experts at logistics and coming up with custom solutions to fit their customer's needs. Highly recommended.

- I've been to Helfer's several times and I always leave feeling well taken care of. The last time the owner John and his head mechanic Eric were able to fix a problem for about $150 that another garage had given up on. The owner is always straight-forward about the cost. I send everyone to Helfer's and have never heard one complaint. Highly recommended.
