Quality Very good - Some of the friendliest and most pleasant security staff I've ever encountered at any airport anywhere in the world.

- This has the makings for a very acceptable substitute for the sorts of proper pubs we have back in the UK, but unfortunately the night I tried it was a Saturday and it was full of "frat boy" types being loud and boisterous. The staff were characterful and super efficient, the interior was quite attractive - a tongue-in-cheek sprinkling of sawdust on the floor to boot, and the beer was pretty good too. If only all the frat boys weren't there it could have been really good.

- I can't say I'm usually a big fan of religious artwork but there is something kind of special about the Last Supper, and I'm really glad we went to see it. You only get 15 minutes or so to see it, and you really need to book well in advance (although if you phone about a week before your visit, as we did, there are often cancellations).

- I finally went on the tour of Buckingham Palace, and despite saving it for a weekday in September - when I thought it might be a bit quieter - all the queueing to get in and the hordes of tourists just spoiled it for me, to be honest. They have airport style security on the way in, which meant even with a timed entry slot it still took something like half an hour to actually get through the door. Then after that it just felt a bit like being in a queue the whole time - you can't really progress at your own pace, you have to plod along mournfully with the rest of the crowd. Perhaps the only bit I really enjoyed was towards the end of the tour, once you get outside, and have a walk through the gardens to the exit. You're allowed to take photos outside, and I found it quite interesting to see the back of a building I am so familiar with from the front. I think there are extended garden tours available, although they seemed to get booked up further in advance, but if I went again I'd probably do that.

- I like how Grayson Perry described this as "contemporary art's corporate headquarters". That said though, something about the actual space, possibly just the crowds of people constantly passing through, means I end up not really being that interested in any of the art exhibited here. I much prefer the Saatchi Gallery.

Appeal Very good Facilities Very good Service Very good - I think this museum gets overlooked a bit compared to some of the other more well known museums in London, but unlike those other museums it is actually about London, which to me makes it particularly interesting.

Quality Good Appeal Good Service Good - Occasional sparks of interest - there's often a guy with a stall selling Italian truffles, and sometimes you can find other interesting wild mushrooms depending on the time of year. Can also be good for apples in season. Much of the rest of it is a bit of a disappointment - too meat oriented, too focused on food to eat on the spot, and too crowded on Saturdays. Also why so many continental cheeses and not more focus on the excellent selection of British cheeses we have available nowadays?

Appeal Very good Facilities Very good Service Very good - Famous in particular for its collection of paintings by Turner (although I am still waiting for him to come back and finish them off). My favourite painting here is the Snack Bar by Edward Burra.
