Artist and astronaut Alan Bean, who was the fourth man to walk on the moon has passed aged 86.
A fantastic artist with great vision, he in corporated materials from the moon and parts of his spacesuit into his paintings making them totally unique.
May he rest in peace and my condolences to his family.

President Trump on Saturday said the notion that his North Korea summit cannot take place on the original date of June 12 is wrong, a comment that is at odds with a high-ranking member of his own administration.

Trump criticized The New York Times for a story quoting a "senior White House official” who said the meeting is highly unlikely to take place on June 12 because of the lack of time to plan the logistics and agenda following his decision to cancel it.

“WRONG AGAIN! Use real people, not phony sources,” Trump tweeted.

#FollowTheMoney: As private prison companies have grown over the last decade, they’ve increasingly relied on immigration detention to boost business.

More than 300,000 people are put into immigration detention annually. Nearly three-fourths of those held each day are kept in privately run facilities.

Last year, ICE told Congress that it expects to hold a record 51,379 detainees in 2018, at a total price tag of $2.7 billion.

Rogue Planet Spotted? Massive Nearby Celestial Object Baffles Astronomers

Astronomers using ESO’s Very Large Telescope and the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope have identified a body that is very probably a planet wandering through space without a parent star.

This is the most exciting free-floating planet candidate so far and the closest such object to the Solar System at a distance of about 100 light-years.

An international team of astronomers has recently investigated a mysterious object designated CFBDSIR 2149-0403 in order to reveal its true nature. The object is assumed to be a young isolated planetary-mass object or a high-metallicity low-mass brown dwarf.

CFBDSIR 2149-0403 was detected in 2012 as a possible member of the AB Doradus moving group. After its discovery, it was classified by the researchers as a unique T-type isolated planetary-mass candidate. However, due to the lack of convincing evidence supporting the hypothesis that CFBDSIR 2149-0403 formed as a planet and was subsequently ejected, the scientific community does not exclude the possibility that it could be a low-mass brown dwarf.

Apple explains how Steam Link iOS app failed to meet App Store guidelines

In the email sent to multiple customers, Schiller says the Valve app violates a number of guidelines - particularly hinting Steam storefront and connected functions as the problem areas. He also adds that Apple is working with Valve to resolve the issue.
