Pete Townshend said he felt a disconnect from the songs as they were writing this album. I guess he was struggling with turning 30 and being too old to play rock n roll. This ended up being the album of theirs with the strongest Entwistle influence.

The first side of this is some of the best Who material out there and it is a shame you don't hear more of it on the radio...

The cover isn't in the best shape. Someone decided to connect the dots. The vinyl is shiney and nice and quiet. I'm pretty sure this is a repress. The center labels are from 73 and dates everywhere say 1975.
