It doesn't look like there's a posted theme for the GIFF 2018.

One more shot from GeoWoodstock 15, taken from the hood of a tie-dye painted VW bug that doubled as a log book. Epic.

An example of my signature micro geocache containers. A friend from Oz -- Hi Geoff! -- sent me some of these Kinder Surpriz eggs awhile back, and I was subsequently able to find a kind German lady who sent me a bunch more, as they are illegal (!) in the USA. Kiddos the world over can eat the chocolate eggs and bunnies, and construct the tiny toys in these shells, but no, not here...

n.b. these particular prepped ones are long-deployed.

Wet_Coaster shared with us the link to a video by Cache Canada of the event from last weekend to #geocache using the subway in Toronto. This looks like a blast and a great way to get into mass transit caching. Have you done anything like this?

Action shot taken at last weekends epic Geocaching Mega event, GeoWoodstock 15, held in Waynesville North Carolina

Give 2000+ geeks GPSs and hide containers in the woods, you get geocaching. Tell em to come to a fairgrounds on one single day, you get GeoWoodstock. Give one of them a camera and access to a thematically appropriate minifig, and you get this shot.

Humphries' Center of New Mexico

The theme +Johnny Wills has selected for #joinindaily today is "In the Middle"

Humphries' Center of New Mexico monument by Leroy Humphries and the 7Up7Down crew
Shots of the freshly-minted monument and flag raising, 8/8/2010

We met Leroy whilst finding a cache on his ranch, and got to talking, which eventually led to my averaging waypoints and marking the spot for his monument. Read all about it on my (our) geocache page:

In tonight's episode of the Geocaching Podcast:
Headhardhat and Sarah T-S are "on assignment" so CloakNDagger will be in as guest host. Tonight's topic is a bit of a rant show when it comes to bad geocache designs and hides. Everything from poorly made, poorly disquiesed and more. This all can lead to unhappy geocachers, muggles and let's say uniformed parties. Suitable suggestions to help will be provided by the hosts.

Be sure to check it out! Please share with other geocachers.

We meet on Wednesday nights at 9:30PM ET at http://www.geocachingpodcast.com/live so you can see us record the show live and join in the chat room. See you there!
