In my latest video here https://youtu.be/uRMwT9a5ee8 I talk about a muscle imbalance that naturally exists in your ankles that could potentially be increasing your chances of getting an ankle sprain. This imbalance is between your ankle inverter muscles, which bring your foot inward, and your ankle everter muscles, which bring your foot outward. Your inverters are naturally stronger than your everters. This can be an issue because commonly, people roll over their ankles, where their ankles are pointed in and down. So if you have weak everters, this can happen more easily. To learn more, watch the video!

In my latest video here https://youtu.be/R4RUeXmO1tc I go over a BIG mistake that many people make when it comes to working out their Calves. Many people think of the Calves as 2 muscles, the Gastrocnemius and Soleus. However, the Gastrocnemius should be thought of as 2 big, powerful muscles, while the Soleus is a large, flat Calf muscle. In the front, you have a slim muscle called the Tibialis Anterior. This small muscle is naturally already overwhelmed by your larger, stronger Calf muscles in the back. Because many people don't workout this muscle, they can make this muscle imbalance even greater, which can lead to issues like heel pain, calf pain, Shin Splints, etc. To better prevent this and learn more, watch the video!

In my latest video here https://youtu.be/VNICB_Yi838 I go over a HUGE cause of knee pain that seemingly very few people discuss. Many people go straight to the knee itself as the source of their pain, which is most of the times NOT the case! In the majority of instances, your knee pain is a result of issues happening at either your hips or your ankles. Why is that? To learn more, watch the video!

MRI has proven to be useful in the assessment of rotator cuff injuries.

MRI is a non‐invasive method of imaging and is unique in that it allows the differentiation of soft tissue structures. Improvements in MRI techniques, including fast spin‐echo imaging and fat saturation, have facilitated demonstration of tendinous abnormalities of the rotator cuff.

In my latest video here https://youtu.be/eJPi2GUJ9cs I talk about a muscle imbalance that can occur in your Oblique muscles. You have internal and external obliques. Your internal obliques rotate your body to the same side, while your external ones rotate you to the opposite side. If you play sports where you are constantly rotating to one side, like golf or baseball, this imbalance can set in over time and cause problems in your body. To learn more, watch the video!

In my latest video here https://youtu.be/sdrSROBsIHo I go over how you can potentially get injured from strengthening your Traps. This is because when you strengthen your Upper Traps with exercises like shrugs, not only are you working out that muscle, but you are also working out your Levator Scapulae. This muscle not only elevates your shoulders, but downwardly rotates them too. This can then lead to shoulder impingement and an injury down the road. To learn more, watch the video as this may apply to you!
