I don't know how relevant this is to the page, but....
During Marvel the infinity Wars, I actually rooted for Thanos to win...
His motivation made sense. A lot of the words he spoke are the same words that have already crossed my mind about Humanity itself, since childhood.
I see a lot of myself in thanos.
. . . I am not going to lie. Half the crap he did is something that I would probably do.
Including kill the person the most closest to me to gain an all-powerful Stone.

“How should we grieve when someone close to us dies? Should we wail and gnash our teeth? Should we swallow our pain? Some would say there is no right answer. You feel whatever you feel, and heal however you heal, and that’s okay. But according to the ancient Stoics – those Greco-Roman philosophers making a comeback as preachers of practical wisdom in a self-help world – there is a correct answer to the question of how we should grieve. And the answer is that we shouldn’t. What’s done is done. There is nothing you can do to change the situation – so move on.”
Can REALITY stand for anything other than MENTALITY ?
It is a touchy subject, but should people who have been hurt/killed in acts of mass killings/terrorist acts be allowed to bring lawsuit against anyone and if so whom would they have right to bring it against?
The Crossroad of Philosophy and Psychology.
From Wikipedia - "existential psychotherapy involves a philosophical exploration of an individual's experiences while stressing the individual's freedom and responsibility to facilitate a higher degree of meaning and well-being in his or her life.[2]" (and Frankl).
The anxieties and suffering sometimes experienced in the face of values confused or conflicted may sometimes be resolved by meditating on the most basic and primitive of human biological needs and values, meaning at its most basic and very serious level.

Everything that happens, has a reason for why it happens. Does everything that doesn't happen have a reason for why it doesn't happen? Initially, it seems like they are similar, but pondering them a bit, they are quite different. Almost the opposite.
“In the 1960s, intellectuals such as Aldous Huxley were fascinated by the effects of LSD, but today most professors are far too worried about respectability and tenure to investigate psychedelics themselves. Which is somewhat ironic, given that the field of Western philosophy has a huge debt to psychedelics, according to Peter Sjöstedt-H, a philosophy doctoral candidate at University of Exeter who has written a book on the philosophical significance of drugs. In fact, one of Plato’s most-cited theories may have been a direct result of hallucinogenics.”
Could we, as parents or teachers, get rid, completely, of the physical punishment while educating children? Especially if we have affaire to a turbulent ones.
Dealing with children seem, at the first glance, an easy matter to handle. But it is not.
A child who smashed the window intentionally; beat hardly another child or knocked on the neighbors's door. Not to mention other bad behaviors..
Let's say that punishing physically a child is to some extent an unacceptable way of bringing him/her up; religiously, philosophically or legally.
What are the other possible ways of making children recognize that this or that form of behaving is not acceptable and he/ she should not repeat it.

Hello all. New to this community and new to philosophy in general (just started my first online course last week) but I have always been interested. Just wanted to say hello.
