I revisited an older work (Gigerplex) to create this one. Though there are similarities, I used a different transformation for the final as well as changed some of the parameters. I also used a completely different gradient.

Beyond The Battle Lines - A Tribute to John Wetton

I honestly didn't have a tribute in mind when I was building the fractal. However, the finished product kind of reminded me of the cover art for John Wetton's Battle Lines album. On the album, it's the British flag in background. The cross or X as well as the reds and blues reminded me of it. I then happened across a picture of John taken by Mike Inns that had a dark background. Thus, it was easy to blend it into the fractal. I thought calling it Beyond The Battle Lines was fitting since John moved beyond this earthly domain on January 31, 2017.
