+Mike Wolfson, is the forum issue related to Google searches still listed as a known issue in the latest series of updates?

More scrolling issues, I don't want this to be a theme but this is confusing as hell.

Looking at the new wiley fox specs article and there is a table at the bottom with the specs and the last phone spark + (I think) is not visible. When trying to scroll right to left to see the last column the app wants to jump to the next article. I was able to find a spot near the left edge of the phone that would let me scroll to see the column, every so slowly. Once I did this there was no way to scroll back to see the first column.

I was expecting that jumping from article to article world be a pull in from an edge, not just a swipe left or right. Nexus 6, 6.0.1, June security update, 2.9.0 version of the app I believe

I have been looking into this for a long time (as long as I have been working on this app, this scroll has had various challenges).  FWIW, we are using the standard ViewPager from Android without ANY customization (so these are just native issues).  I have asked around my circles of developers to see if anyone has experience extending this, but no silver bullet solutions have emerged yet.

I'm not techie enough to know what the problem is, but I seem to be have an issue opening some Android Central links from Google Search. When I try, I get the following message (the message only pops up for a split second, so it took me several attempts to get a screenshot!) Any ideas?

OK, this is known, and I will add that soon.  Next release though (probably not this one).  Thanks anyway for taking the time to let us know.

FWIW, I will move that up in the priority based on this exchange (so squeaky wheel will get some grease).

When searching for "Chromebook", I expected to find the story about which Chromebooks will be able to run Android apps from Google Play. I only found that story when I searched for "Chromebooks".

Not sure if anyone else has this problem, but I constantly end up refreshing (pull down) when trying scroll through the stories at the top.

Question: The website now supports different localized editions of Android Central (i.e. US, UK, India, Canada, Global). Does the app support these different editions? Can you choose within the app, or could it match your website selection (maybe through account settings)? +Mike Wolfson +Phil Nickinson

I asked the server guy, and looks like this is kind of hard to support right now...I will keep it in the bug list, for a time when it may be easier.

Following this link from a Google search tries to load in the app then force closes. Nexus 6P.

Actually this is something I am actively looking at, and this little hint (cache clear) may be useful to me.  So thanks for reporting!

+Ryan Olmstead I am able to duplicate this issue when using G+ for authentication, and have reported this to our internal Web guy (who will need to work with some other resources to understand this further). Bottom line, sorry you are having issues, thanks again for the additional information, hopefully we can get to the bottom of the issue soon.

Yup, you can't use the widget and SD card reliably. Known limitation of the OS not a bug or something I can do anything about.

Hi, boys and girls!

Just pushed a new beta build (.90) that ... doesn't actually change anything from the LAST beta built. But we did want to make sure that Phil didn't break anything, so it goes to you folks first.

Since we didn't drop word in here last time, here's the official changelog, rockets and all:

🚀 New splash screen on cold start.
🚀 Updated Google Play Services.
🚀 Moved open in browser and favorite a story into the Action Bar.
🚀 Added setting to choose which browser to open in.
🚀 Fixed inaccurate comment counts.
🚀 Fixed forums crash in Android N.

I did fix this in the upcoming release (some other tweaks to the ActionBar a bit in other areas too).  Thanks for the heads up (as always).

In the forums, there is a thread that I participated in, but it's not listed in my participated threads. If I navigate to the correct forum, the thread is there and shows my response.

+Mike Wolfson Glad to be of help. And I would never assume that anything is trivial when I can't do it myself, lol. Love the app. Something I check several times a day. Keep up the good work man!
