The book "Paperless in One Hour for Lawyers" will be available soon. Has anyone read the book? Does the book say anything brand new about going "paperless" --- we have been reading and discussing "paperless" activities for more than five years in various venues/listservs. The book costs $49.99.

Some really interesting thoughts and observations about the changes occurring in our profession, many of which are occurring because of technological change, including cloud computing. Definitely worth a read.

What do you think of this advice? I tend to disagree. If you're constantly frustrated with your software, it might be time for a change.

Hi, I'm writing an article about the use - or rather, the lack of use - of document automation tools by law firms. Can anyone shed some light on why there'd be resistance to using something that would improve productivity?

Three more had more than 2,000 lawyers, and an additional 17 topped 1,000. So it's inconceivable that solos and small firms with merely an online presence could stay afloat surroun...

Why not brush up on your cloud ethics?
New ethics rules require lawyers to be technologically competent and aware of the ethical implications of cloud computing. But what exactly constitutes technological competence? And how far must a lawyer who stores date in the cloud go to protect client confidences from inadvertent or unauthorized access or disclosure?
