Great idea to use, reuse, recycle or upcycle old stuff that usually we trough in the rubbish.
If you want to learn to make bowls, this tutorial will show you how to do it using doilies from the dollar bin and Mod Podge Stiffy.

I would think so +UsedEverywhere. But I would either lightly sand the vinyl first or bend the vinyl (apply it) before painting.

That will work great as well. There are a lot of decorative papers out there. Try art or stationery stores.

I used mod podge to help create the president blocks and flag block puzzle in this picture. The mod podge is how I glued the flag image down and was used liberally over top the flag image, president and number stickers to create a smooth finish and increase durability of the blocks. They turned out really well!
I set up our USA Presidents center this week while Tris was doing some reviews of last year's math through IXL on his and Trace's tablet. My favorite part of this center is the blocks. I ran into the concept of presidents ...

Okay, this is not a project.... YET! We are debating in the office whether it's okay to modge podge these vintage music sheets. I say "absolutely" because it preserves them! You might be a music lover but not want to play these songs.....

Hello! I'm a newbie blogger, just started my DIY craft blog www.sohosonnet.com where I post tutorials, DIY crafts, kids activities and more! And yes I love me some mod podge :) I'm trying to figure out how to connect with more people and gain some traffic. Tips and advice are appreciated! I'm also working on launching an etsy site selling paper goods (invitations, nursery art). Glad to be a part of this community!
