TAKING A POLL: Do you find it offensive, uncomfortable, demeaning, insulting OR even just something you do NOT LIKE, when a customer service person (cashier, service agent, waitress, phone rep) addresses you as: Hun, Honey, Cutie, Sweetie, etc.?

PLEASE ONLY RESPOND WITH A YES OR NO - NOT A DETAILED REASON OR EXCEPTION

Many women find this salutation uncomfortable. Looking to see what the responses are. Thanks ladies.

Someone once told me - You're too pretty to be single. I say - NO, I'm too pretty to be lied to, cheating on and abused.

Love yourself today because for one you deserve it and for the other no one will love you like you love yourself --- EVER xoxoxo

Just thought I would post and let everyone know I am still on my journey to healing successfully. There are always going to be days where I still and get reminded of the hurt but I can truly say I am in a better place and realizing that my self love is first.

This time of year can be very stressful and cause anxiety/panic attacks for some. Try this acronym we use as at Dovetail Odyssey. FAST AAH, a tool to help regain composure and relax, reaching that "aah" moment quickly.
Feel free to share if you know someone it may help.

F - Find a safe quiet place, close your eyes and take 5 slow deep breaths, in through the nose, out through the mouth. Allow your shoulders to drop and relax.
A - Affirmation - Say out loud or to yourself - I am safe and in control. Say this 5 times slowly and purposefully.
S - Surroundings - Describe your surroundings, colors, objects, surfaces, sounds, smells. Use as many senses as you can. Connect with your space. Be grounded.
T - Transport - Take yourself to your peaceful image. A beach, the mountains, a lake, a cloud. Visualize being there.

A - Affirmation - Repeat again saying I am safe and in control 5 times.
A - Air - Breath in and out, deeply, slowly, in through nose, out through mouth, shoulders down and relaxed.
H - Happiness - Imagine something that would make you happy no matter how unrealistic, silly or simple it may seem.

Reach your "aah" moment quickly using the acronym FAST AAH
