Now it's happening in Canberra!

Great talk by Vicki Mason last night. There seems to be a paradox with plastic. On the one hand, it is unstable that therefore problematic for jewellery. But on the other, it lingers in our environment beyond its use. Generally, it seems important to consider the dimension of time in craft. Vicki's work helps focus on that.

It's been pretty quiet here in recent weeks. Are there glimmers of light on the horizon, or should we call things to a close?
