Just launched a new service at http://webizen.org/ -- a public, searchable repository of WebIDs. More info about the API can be found in the blog post linked below. Enjoy! :) #WebID   #SocialWeb

Now that rww.io is up and running nicely, it's time to start working on Web apps. Personally, I find that having a organized schedule is very useful for a researcher/developer, that's why my first Web app is an agenda/calendar, called LD-Cal: https://ld-cal.rww.io/index.html

It works on the principle that you host your events data yourself, at a location that is writable by the app (HTTP PUT). You can either run the app from it's own URL (the link above) or you can create your personal Web space on rww.io and deploy it there.

Please remember it is in Beta, so any feedback is appreciated!

P.S. If you want to grab the source code and run it yourself, just follow this link: https://github.com/rww-apps/ld-cal

Dear all! I am proud to announce the release of http://rww.io/, a "personal cloud" service for your Linked Data. It offers access control and WebID authentication.

Since RWW.IO is intended to be used as a backend service for your Linked Data applications, the UI is minimal, allowing you to edit RDF documents and set ACL rules. Users can also upload a limited range of images (PNG, JPG and GIF - for all your cat pictures, wee!).

If you would like to run your own service, just grab the code from https://github.com/deiu/rww.io and get started! It is a free service, paid entirely from my personal founds and created in my free time, so please consider supporting this project if you like and use it. Thank you!

I'm playing a bit with WebRTC these days for peer-to-peer video. I'm hoping you can test it out a bit, so please leave any comments here or on the wall of https://my-profile.eu/.

I plan to add an option to connect to someone if you know their WebID, though for now I'm still ironing out some technical issues.

Here's the link: https://my-profile.eu/video

More news! MyProfile public wall now has an RDF representation. I'm still working on pagination, but you can check it out for now with curl:

curl -L -H "Accept: text/turtle" https://my-profile.eu/wall.php

Enjoy!

If you ever wanted to import MyProfile wall posts into your application, you can do it now through this minimal json api: https://my-profile.eu/api/wall. Of course, you will need to set the Accept header to "application/json".

Here are some quick examples:
- to get a post: https://my-profile.eu/api/wall?post=1212
- to get a list of posts: https://my-profile.eu/api/wall?start=5&items=5

Enjoy! :)
