We always hear a lot of charity's raised for kids in Africa, and that is a great thing to do. The sad thing is that there's people without food and hope living in most of our towns. We drive by some of them all the time and just stare without looking. So we can make sure we don't make eye contact. Poverty isn't something that can be addressed like that. We can't just keep sweeping it under the rug bc NOTHING GETS BETTER WHEN NOTHING IS DONE. Poverty is a life sentence to a lot of people and it affects all their choices. Nothing can move a person to do something they thought they'd never do like an empty stomach can. Many of the kids will start on a life sentence of stealing robbing selling drugs and whatever they have to do to satisfy this roaring pain in their Belly. Many will end up in jail or prison. Many of the girls will lose all respect for themselves and their body will become the local convenience store. Some will get pregnant and she'll be told she can't take care of a baby. So a lot of babies will die in the name of convenience just like the store the gits use. Most of these kids will be under educated and won't be able to get a job if they could. It's easy to say it isn't me or come up with excuses to justify not helping them. A lot of us have got a major mental illness that makes us think we're better then others it even affects our eyes and cause them to look down on others. This might be a shock to all the blamers (people that blame everything on something ) Not all people living on streets is hooked on drugs and drugs isn't the main problem that affects humanity. Imo it's this disease called Self Reightousitis that can ruin a person for life and make them useless to a dying world.
