I've been studying the JFK assassination for well over 20 years.
The main thing that bothers me about the JFK assassination it's not the who, or the why, simply put Lee Harvey Oswald was a covert spy.
My parents wanted to take their honeymoon in Russia during that period in the 60s and we're given nothing but trouble they did eventually get to go only because my dad worked for the DOD.
As retired Marine Gunnery Sergeant, I find it very almost impossible for someone who defected from the United States a former Marine is allowed to just free flow into Russia. The Russians claim that Oswald was not even debriefed and was no interest to their intelligence agencies. And then he just decides to come back home and it's not even debriefed by the CIA.
As a retired Marine I find this almost laughable. This is a man who was the radar operator for the U-2 spy plane which as we all know ended up crashing in Russia.

Lee Harvey Oswald: 48 Hours to Live
This special seeks to explain the enigmatic Oswald using a brand new approach. No other documentary has exclusively traced Oswald's actions in the minutes, hours and days following the events in Dallas. By shifting the focus on that November weekend, we're able to tell a familiar story in an unfamiliar way, providing a refreshing new perspective on Oswald himself, as well as on the Kennedy assassination. Ultimately, we will lay bare the suspect's final two days, revealing why the Dallas police were convinced they had Kennedy's killer. On his way to the police station after his arrest at the Texas Theater, an officer asked Oswald whether or not he killed the president. Oswald snidely replied: "You find out for yourself." Lee Harvey Oswald: 48 Hours to Live eagerly takes up Oswald's 50-year-old challenge.
