Can someone prepare for gmat in 3 months?

Some people say that a period of 3 months is sufficient for gmat preps. Well that depends from an individual to an individual. For a person whose base (quants, vocabulary, reasoning) is pretty good can ace the exam even in a month’s time. On the other hand, a guy whose vocabulary and mathematics is poor may find it difficult to prepare even if he had a preparatory period of 6 months. The first thing to do is attempt a mock test and check how you fare in it. Giving an online test/ mock will give you a feel of the exam and also give you an idea of the preparation time you require for the big day.

How to prepare for gmat?
1. Make a study plan where you can devote a minimum of 2–3 hours on gmat preps.

2. Start working on your basics and try to be above average.

3. Once your bases are covered, start solving online mocks and test series.

4. Examine the mistakes you’ve committed in the practice tests and make sure not to repeat them again.

5. Try solving difficult questions during mocks as it’ll help you in getting a good score.

6. Don’t neglect the easy questions as being over confident can affect your performance badly.

7. Try working on your speed as gmat is all about speed & accuracy.

Note: Normally, students get stressed while preparing for mba entrance exams especially when they don’t get proper guidance. That’s where a coaching class can help. You could opt for CATKing which provides coaching for cat, snap, gre, micat, bank po, iim, etc. at its Powai, Andheri & Borivali branches in Mumbai and Pune.
