For those who are working with iPad Air 2s - We recently have gone 1:1 with iPad Air 2s, and are looking at additional options for repairing cracked screens specifically for this model.  The company we have been working with to replace screens on our iPad 2s has informed us that the cost of repairing a screen on iPad Air 2s is higher ($259.00) and recently come back to inform us that this price has gone up to $330.00 per unit, since there appears to exist a shortage in supplies.  I plan to reach out to other companies this week, but wanted to check in with the group if others have experience with iPad Air 2s and repairs, or even alternate affordable solutions.

Thank you in advance,
Maria

Exciting news for iPad Educators - you can now administer Safe YouTube for all students via the iPad app.

The 3rd most visited site in the world, YouTube is the go-to destination for both parents and educators when it comes to videos that entertain and educate children. Until now, the YouTube app used by kids in grades K-12 has remained unsafe, with no easy way to turn the safety mode on.

Introducing the first and only solution to make the YouTube app safe for homes and schools (and for all devices): http://bit.ly/1Kq6EYH

Please donate just $1 through PayPal or with a credit card.  I only need 230 more amazing people to give just $1.  Use the promo code SPARK and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation will double it.  Trying to bring 3D printing to my district.

Baby steps. Sometimes it's best to introduce only few new things at a time, allow staff and students time to master those, then continue adding new components in bite sized pieces. Too many new things at once confuse teachers, and they don't have the chance to truly master them so they get frustrated and don't use them at all.

Looking for a NEW and FAST Browser for your iPad?
Diigo browser, formerly named IChromy, is a Chrome style web browser the iPad. It allows tabbed browsing, with unlimited tabs. It features things like Omnibox and incognito mode. You can save pages for offline reading later with just one click. You can also share to Facebook and Twitter very easily. Finally it has a built in highlighter, which I want to show you in the following video.

Hi - I was wondering if any of you had experience with Casper Focus for your iPad programs.  We are in the fourth year of our 1:1 program and we have seen an increase in distractactability among our students and are looking for ways to address it.
