"Broken Glass"
"Broken Glass" By Arcassin Burnham You're more, Than what I've hoped for, You are , Something I could adore, With the smile of an angel and the taste Of strawberries when we kiss, Marks the broken glass at the end of the hallway based On our arguments but I...

  Don't Gamble With The Devil

The Devil gave you a call
to invite you to a card game

      He said, If you win
I will give you fortune and fame

     If you loose
I will take all you have in you name

     You told your concerned friends
You have mastered all card games

So you accepted the Devil's invitation to His card game

    Don't gamble with the Devil
You have so much to loose

Lady luck seemed to be on your side
for the cards seemed to be dealt in your favor

     As the game played on
It seemed like the Devil was feeding His card right into your hand

     Don't gamble with the Devil
You have so much to loose

The game was coming to a close
A smile on your face arose

Fore the whole game seemed to be played in your favor

    The strange thing you noticed
The Devil didn't show any remorse
of loosing the game in his behavior

    Don't gamble with the Devil
You have so much to loose

When you both thew down your cards
Your jaw dropped down to your knees

For what did your eyes see ?
The Devil had the winning hand

A smile arose on his face
     As he said
You thought you were going to beat the Devil
     at his own game ?

    You poor fool
    You were only being deceived

    Now pay me
    what you owe me
    Give  me your soul

 The Giant Super Market

Religion is like a giant super market
It's shelves are stocked with every brand of god
that the mind can think up

You will hear most people say
It's foolish to put your faith in only one brand

They will advise you not to waste your time
studying the labels on the back of every god

For there are too many of them to compare
just choose the one that looks like it will satisfy your desires
   and relax your conscience

   For life is short

We all must devote our time to more important things in life
   such as work and play

Instead of getting lost at the giant super market
In the maze of aisle that are a mile high
and stretch for miles in length

Today i saw an article in The Religious Consumer's Report magazine
It read,  Shoppers who took the time to compare the labels
and put their faith in the Jesus brand

Were rushed through the express checkout counter
   and entered Heaven

Shoppers who did not spend time comparing labels
and put their faith in other gods

    Found themselves stunned
as they waited in very long lines to go through the check out counter
and enter The Lake Of Fire

Wild Flowers

Wild flowers

They spring up to life,in the field where The Creator plants them
They are nurtured buy sun ,water, and feral soil,
They proclaim the glory of the artistry of their Creator
They grow and multiple until they reach their glorious peak
They wither, and fade into dust and are no more
All is orchestrated by the Creator’s hand

Wild flowers

Artists praise your beauty, and try to capture your glory with paints on canvas
Farmers detest you presence ,and toil to remove you from the soil
For in their eyes you are nothing but a weed that competes and hinders the growth of their valued crops.

Wild flowers

Man is like the wild flower of the field

They spring to life in the world where The Creator has placed them
They are nurtured and blessed from the helplessness of infancy to the glory of adulthood by the hand of The Creator
Some grow to have families ,some grow alone
Some grow toward the Son of their Creator, some grow toward another in darkness
They all reach their peak of their glory,
Then they wither, fade into dust and are no more
All is orchestrated by the Creator’s hand

Wild flowers

In the soil of some people’s hearts a relationship with a wild flower was cultivate, and appreciated for it beauty.
In the soil of some people’s hearts a relationship with a wild flower was uprooted and valued as a weed that competed and hinders the growth of their dreams .

Wild flowers

Relationship are like wild flowers
They will only live, grow, become a thing of thriving beauty,if we nurture them.
When a wild flower fades and withers away their is no seance of singing it’s praise
If we didn’t do so while it was alive.

 The Call

   Jesus poured out His Life
      To save the lost

How can we ever repay the cost ?

God gave His children a call
To proclaim the good news to all

He gave us only one life
     to answer the call

Will you pour out your all ?

     To lead the lost
     to salvation through the Lamb
Who hung on the rugged cross

God gave us only one life to live

     Will you  answer the call

The Time We Have Together Is Winding Down

The freedom we once knew is fading out

The time we have together is winding down

I better make my every word and action count

If there is only one thing i can do for you
   I will witness to you

If there is only one thing i can tell you
Jesus sacrificed His life to save you

If there is only one thing i can show you
I will show you the love of Christ

The freedom we once knew is fading out

The time we have together is winding down

for the goodness of humanity is burning out

The sands of the hourglass to judgment are running out

There only one thing i want you to receive
abundant life through faith in Christ

There is only one place i want you to spend eternity
I want to see you in heaven

There is only one thing i can do for you
   I will pray for you

The Twilight Zone

I called to say I love you,
But you are never there.
I wanted you to know its true,
And that I really care.

I also called you yesterday,
And the day before.
I think you might have gone away,
I just don't know for sure.

Remember how we used to walk,
Together hand in hand?
And how we always used to talk,
As we walked along the sand?

And in the darkness of the night,
We'd curl up by the fire.
You made everything feel just right.
You were my heart's desire.

Now the wind begins to rise,
And I hear the sea waves roar.
I hear your sobs and heavy sighs,
As I knock upon your door.

Now I see you through the veil,
But you don't know I'm here.
I call your name, to no avail,
As you wipe away a tear.

Again I try the telephone,
But I know you cannot hear.
I am in the twilight zone,
Because I died last year.
