When neighbors, neighborhood's fight back
' it does help to flip the narrative a bit when as I've long said "predators and sociopath's" should walk out their door looking over their shoulder with the same fear they hope to bring to others'

Headwinds..
' that influx of Capitalism's extracted national wealth being dumped here can be a positive force or manipulated away from the optimal urban created spaces without as creative advocacy'

Shared this again privately with someone else, based on a just released longread essay shedding some awareness of how pay-to-play access shapes public spaces as societal havens, focusing on NYC's Highline, for me closer to where I live here as the Westside Trail, is under construction it's larger purposes is a premise of neighborhood connectivity that leaves this and the next generation a more practical experience for getting to places they work, where they live, intown in its urban core.. within a city that's reasonably financially healthy while entertaining a ton of extracted national wealth currently being dumped here, without the added fuckery of suburbia-centric obstructionism.

Advocacy, or rather the strength of it ensures how equity is created for us who choose to be in this space. It's interesting to note that Ryan Gravel, has always understood the oddness of how certain people who intuitively get what cities are supposed to be are dissmised by the new wannabes including previous stakeholders, he addressed it in a TEDxAtlanta talk a few yrs back.

Not saying he's a Gold digger, terribly paraphrasing 'Kanye, but on this we're in agreement having followed some of the more strategically relevant close-in annexation proposals.
