I propose the following for this week presentation. If someone thinks of something more cool or different or better please DO NOT DOUBT to do so.
The important thing is the idea behind that we will do a collaborative article for this week.

Hi, Here are notes from our Friday meeting:

We started by discussion the articles for this course.

Focus of the group:
Difference between collaboration and cooperation
Different ways to work in collaboration
Pros and cons of collaboration

We need to focus on the cooking ingredients in our presentation.
- We could focus on different tools to be used in online courses --> share experiences and pros and cons on the tools we have used.
Could be i.e. mind map, SLACK, prezi...

Next meeting talk about our personal experience on digital learninng, what you knew and what you would like to know?
- Benefits
- Challenges
- in which context have you used the tool

We decoded to present on Prezi, and discussed on how to work with the presentation. Is it possible to use Prezi without a licence, to collaborate on the same presentation? Will be checked until monday.
It seems as it could be difficult to work in the same document.

So maybe look for other way to collaborate on the same presentation?

Here comes the notes from today´s meeting. Thank you all for a nice discussion. Note especially the last part, with our decision of how to work with an article.

Notes from meeting 28/3:

Rolf told us about the article he had read.
Camtazia could be a nice way to share videos and presentation. However it is quite expensive.
Dissertations and meetings as video conferences.
Zoom is the probably the new Connect, the tool to use when being in collaboration with each other.

Do the different systems have to be compatible with each other?
Canvas, itslearning and Moodle. There are good information of how to use Moodle in i.e. youtoube.
There are so much different possibilities and tools to use.

All teachers should attend a course like this. Being a learner gives us experiences to use when we plan our courses.

Alastair´s blog (PBL171 facilitator)
Podcast - a good way of learning new things instead of reading articles/books.

A suggestion that we write an article of the theories and thoughts about what we have read and discussed, but in an easy to understand and easy to implement in practice way. From a pedagigical point of view.

We decided to use our blogs as the way of working towards an article. Someone starts and the next goes on from there and so on. We continue randomly until we have the article ready.
-- Catharina starts with the headline and the rest continues. We put a number at the blog, to make the order, so that we know where to go on.

Hi I will be late to our meeting today. Still sitting on a pre-defense of a PhD thesis.

I made a small mindmap of the questions I am struggling with. Maybe we could discuss some of these tomorrow(?)

As you may know I'm an historian. In the middle of this ONL course, when we should dig deeper into the future possibilities of networking and collaborating, I want to look back to see how technology have changed from 1970s up till today, and how it will change for tomorrows students, and what this development have meant for our learning and teaching possibilities. To do this, I got a lot of help from an article by Diana Laurillard and by a report from EDUCAUSE. I have put together a chart, and doing this I also tried to look forward to see what will come next. But that was difficult! Therefore, I would appreciate some help and comments from you on this. In my blog post is a link to an open Google drive document and I hope you want to collaborate on this. Of course, I do not regard the document as my work. I just started it and hope it will continue and result in something that we have created together, and can share.
The questions are: what kind of digital technology will come the next ten years, and how will this development transform student learning? Another question is how this will change teacher's situation and role in learning.
But of course there is more to be said about this and more questions to put.

Here's the link to my blog:

The webinar yesterday had a lot of good examples how to connect online. This slide inspired me to the mindmap-thinking :)

Hi everybody,

I just remind everybody to join our meeting on tuesday and we will try to screencast the meeting as a way to show hoe we collaborate.

/Have nice weekend, Catharina
