It is a public call for "still" and 360° surround photography for the area of Soča (Izonzo) River ... natural and cultural sights. The call is in Slovene language at: https://www.soca-valley.com/sl/poslovne-strani/razpisi-in-javna-povabila/2018073013263646/javno-povabilo-na-fotografski-natecaj-dolina-soce-2018-2019/
but you can use the Google translate to understand it.
Even I allready covered all the desired locations I won't be a competition but I am giving chance to the others, maybe a good chance to visit the area of the "Esmerald River", shot some stills or panoramas and even earn the trip.
I am not present at Facebook so please share this message to 360° photographers on Facebook or similar.
Knowledge and opportunities need to be shared. The call is with four (4) time etapes... the very first is allready on September 5th (read the public call).
Kind regards from the Sunny side of the Alps.

Here it is, finally (finally-finally ... the ball-drop I managed on this is embarrassingly epic, and I have no real excuse for it): Our Q3/2017 panoramic photography event on the theme “Wood” is online:

The January–March event of the World Wide Panorama is online!

We’ll have a Late Edit, too (on request) and the new theme for the Q2 (April–June) event is: “Glass” (keeping the “Year of Building Materials" idea going).

New theme for the World Wide Panorama, Q1/2017:
“Concrete”!
(also, the contributions from the Late Edit phase of the Best Of 2016 are online, too!)

Some thoughts on the new theme:

“Concrete” – on one hand, it’s the opposite of “abstract” (for those who prefer the challenging, less literal approach to panoramic photography; on the other hand the mixture of sand, cement and water is today an almost ubiquitous substance that has accompanied mankind’s efforts to create lasting buildings for thousands of years and has defined architecture in our modern world. From utilitarian uses to spectacular creations, concrete is one of the building blocks of our civilization.
It is a very approachable theme; chances are you can’t take a step outside without encountering concrete in one form or the other!
